Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it in public — with the date, the page, what it said, and what it says now.
Updated July 2026
This page logs substantive corrections: factual errors, wrong statistics, misleading claims, and anything we've changed after publishing that affects what a reader would take away. Minor fixes — typos, broken links, formatting — are not logged.
Our full standard for accuracy and corrections is in our Editorial Policy. To report an error, email [email protected] with the page URL and the specific claim. We aim to acknowledge within three business days.
Was: Several pages published precise age-bracket and regional average scores — including an 18–24 average of 88, and separate US and Northern European figures — presented as if they were measured values.
Now: Age averages are now shown as rounded approximations describing a general pattern, and the unsourced regional and institutional figures were removed. See our methodology for how we handle statistics.
